Carole ConamaCarole Conama

Carole Conama studied as a child under the tutelage of Ruth Wagoner in South Minneapolis, she was an apprentice modern dancer for Nancy Hauser Dance company during middle school and took Ballet from Loyce Houlten in High School. After returning from California, she re-discovered her love of tap with Char Weiss where she shared the stage with the Keane Sisters and Kaleena Miller. Carole has over 30 years of teaching under her belt, and has led various workshops.

Charles FraserCharles Fraser

Charles Fraser has been a teaching artist with the Guthrie Theater, the Hennepin Theatre Trust, the Phipps Center for the Arts, Ordway Center for the Performing Arts, Upstream Arts, Vail Place, StageCoach Theatre Arts School, and Walt Disney Entertainment. He is also an adjunct professor of theatre arts at Concordia University in Saint Paul, as well as a theatre arts teacher at Pines School, Concordia Academy, and Saint Louis Park High School. He has directed plays at Avalon Charter School, Saint Paul Conservatory for the Performing Arts, and Mahtomedi High School. As an actor, he has worked for the Guthrie Theater, the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts, Theatre de la Jeune Lune, History Theatre, Park Square Theatre, Minnesota Shakespeare Project, Jon Hassler Theater, The Zephyr Theatre, Playwrights’ Center, Brave New Workshop, Yellow Tree Theatre, Mixed Blood Theatre, Rochester Civic Theatre, and Illusion Theater, among others. Outside of the Twin Cities, he has performed at New Stage Theatre in Mississippi, Lincoln Amphitheatre in Indiana, and aboard Disney Cruise Line’s flagship, Disney Magic. He is featured in a variety of commercials and the films Pull, Jurisprejudice, Hinkleton, and The Completely Remarkable, Utterly Fabulous Transformation of a Regular Joe. He is a member of Actors’ Equity Association and the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists.

Calyssa Hall

Calyssa Hall is a resident of Afton, Minnesota, and has worked for many years as a freelance director, stage manager, musician, production coordinator, lighting designer, and technician for professional and community theatres throughout the greater Twin Cities area. She graduated Summa Cum Laude in music and musical theatre from the University of Wisconsin – River Falls. Ms. Hall has taught drama in the Stillwater Area School District and has directed community education theatre programs in Inver Grove Heights and South St. Paul. In 2013, she founded the company that is now known as Only a Dim Image Productions and will further its mission through the creation of The Zephyr Theatre.


Cassidy Hall

Cassidy Hall graduated from the University of Wisconsin – River Falls with degrees in Creative Writing, Music, and Musical Theatre. She works as a director and instructor for The Zephyr Theatre, and a director for ACT Theater in the South Saint Paul Tri-District.  She is also a professional photographer and a creative writer. She worked as a writing tutor for UW-River Falls in the past, and currently volunteers as an editor. Cassidy has been actively involved with theatre for many years, performing with the Phipps Center for the Arts, CB Productions, Stillwater Community Theatre, Woodbury Community Theatre, and various companies in the Twin Cities. She is trained in acting, singing, and dance, including ballroom, jazz, contemporary, and tap. In addition to performing on stage, she has also worked backstage for many productions as stage manager, director’s assistant, deck captain, light/sound board operator, and prop master.

Robin HolienRobin Holien

Robin Holien has been choreographing for ten years for various theatres, projects, and studios. Some of her favorites include Hello Dolly, Peter Pan, The Music Man, and You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, among others. She has also enjoyed other aspects of theater including sound and lighting, dancing, and singing. She is a graduate of St. Paul Conservatory For Performing Artists and trained under Maggie Bergeron, Joe Chvala, Cathy Wind, Ellen Keane, Karen Paulson Rivet, and so many more. She enjoys working with the elderly as a Recreational Therapist and at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival as a musician and vocalist.

Tinne RosenmeierTinne Rosenmeier

Tinne Rosenmeier is a theater artist and educator living and working in the Twin Cities. She has performed in several Shakespeare plays, and is scheduled to appear in The Tempest with Cromulent Shakespeare this June. Tinne recently retired from teaching theater in public education, and is delighted to return to the classroom doing work she loves. Tinne received her acting training at the National Shakespeare Conservatory in New York City, and holds an MA in Educational Theater from New York University, and a BA in English Literature from Carleton College.

Lena Wolf RothmanLena Wolf Rothman

Lena Wolf Rothman is a Minnesota artist trained in the classical, Dutch, and Flemish techniques of painting and drawing. She studied at Atelier Lack with Stephen Gjertson and Richard Lack. More recently, Rothman studied with Jeff Hurinenko, a Dutch Flemish portrait and genre painter, Joseph Paquet, a plein air painter, and at the Florence Academy of Art. For Rothman, drawing and painting the human face and figure has always been a passion. She would often use family and friends for subjects. While studying at Atelier Lack, Rothman composed and painted a 4’x3′ full figure oil study of her parents and Russian and Romanian grandparents from the 1940’s. Her landscape “The Boathouse” appeared in The Beard Gallery and was reviewed in the Minneapolis Star Tribune. In the summer of 2002 she enrolled in the Florence Academy of Art where she studied landscape painting with Doud Akriev, a Russian artist trained in St. Petersburg. Rothman’s painting ‘Cristina’ has been on exhibit at the Richeson Gallery as a part of the international exhibit, “Richeson 75: Figure, Portrait 2008 Competition”. Rothman has also exhibited at International Market Square, the Jewish Community Centers in St. Paul and Minneapolis, the Beard Gallery, the Romanian Church of St. Paul, the Richeson Gallery, the Kelley Gallery, the St. Croix Art Barn, and The Zephyr Theater in Stillwater She is also a member of the Portrait Society of America, and the Pastel Society of America.

Jessica Thienes

Jessica Thienes has been working in the Twin Cities’ theatre industry for the last 5 years as an actor, fight director and dance choreographer. She received her BA in Acting/Directing from Saint Cloud State University and her MFA in Performing Arts, with an emphasis in movement and stage combat, from Savannah College of Art and Design. She has worked with companies like 20% Theatre Company, Classical Actors Ensemble, and Mission Theatre Company. She is very excited to be working for The Zephyr Theatre and can’t wait to see the talent and enthusiasm she will encounter during her lessons.
